Set the lights down low for this pair of character posters from JJ Abrams' “reimagining” of the Star Trek franchise.

Once again, I’m still not sure the mood they’re aiming for with this new version of Trek, and these new posters throw me off even more, considering how just a few weeks ago, Abrams' was telling Entertainment Weekly that they were going for a “positive, uplifting” version of the space-saga.

Guess we’ll see when Star Trek hits screens on May 8th.
