…Ok, I know, you’re going “Who the HELL is Chris Hemsworth”?

Well, I think I know my reader-base here, so I’ll remind you.

You know the awesome opening of Star Trek?

Remember Jim Kirk’s dad, George Kirk?

That is Chris Hemsworth, and in Summer 2011, we’ll be seeing him wreck people with Mjolnir as Thor. And then again in 2012 as a member of The Avengers.

What do I think? Honestly, don’t know enough to say. I thought he was fine as George Kirk (although ultimately, not memorable), but we’ll see him next in the Drew Goddard (Cloverfield) directed, Joss Whedon (nerdy things) written The Cabin in the Woods.

Hopefully we’ll get a better idea of his skills then.

Directed by Kenneth Branagh, Thor is scheduled to hit theaters on June 17th, 2011.
