At 10am EST, the first trailer for Avatar will arrive on Apple.com.

Tomorrow, August 21st, 18 minutes of Avatar footage will be shown to fans across the country (I’ll be one of them, with my impressions appearing here, and elsewhere…).

So while the last shreads of the veil of secrecy are up, Fox decided this was a great time to release 6 new stills from the film, which ultimately tell us nothing.

You’ve got Sigourney Weaver looking great for 60, Michelle Rodriguez looking bummed out about something, some military dude with some sweet head scars, and Sam Worthington wearing a biker t-shirt and having a lot more hair than usual.

Oh! And an awesome pic of airships, which I’ve used as the header image for this post.

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?! WHERE IS IT ALL LEADING?!

No idea. But we’ll know more in just a few hours. Or by the time you read this.
