Later tonight, the first reels of Avatar get shown for the critical press.

In one week and some hours, fans everywhere get to see it in IMAX 3D.

It’s the culmination of 15 years and $300 million of blood, sweat and tears. But even with that, the hype train must move forward as it comes into station.

And that brings us to this, the final poster for Avatar.

Featuring more a semblance of the movie’s world Pandora, along with the face of lead Sam Worthington…honestly, this should’ve been the image pushed, instead of the half face of a Na’vi.

Either way, we’ll see what happens. Avatar hits theaters on December 18th.
