BRYAN SINGER Returning To The X-Men Franchise!
A surprising announcement from a surprising source.
While the Avatar premiere was no doubt the talk of the Hollywood town last night, the big surprise is what was said on the red carpet.
In the midst of his interview with IGN, Bryan Singer let loose a surprising announcement. Apparently, once he finishes his next film, titled Jack the Giant Killer, Singer will be returning to the X-Men franchise to direct X-Men: First Class.
Set to tell the origins of the classic Marvel franchise, this will be Singer’s first X-Men film since X2: X-Men United. He was scheduled to direct X-Men 3, but he was most infamously removed from the project by Fox while he worked on Superman Returns, and the 3rd mutant film was given to Brett Ratner, which was fast tracked to go against Superman.
Who says you can’t kiss and make up in Hollywood?
