Fresh off the gaming presses is the announcement for the not-quite sequel to Assassin’s Creed II - Assassins' Creed: Brotherhood.

Sort of an Assassin’s Creed 2.5, the game continues the story of Ezio, the protagonist of the second Assassin’s Creed (which was a STUNNING game, if you missed it), and plops him into Rome for a 15-hour single player adventure.

If that sounds diminutive, you’re kinda right, as the games real push is the multiplayer side of things.  Featuring a variety of character classes, you’ll be able to sneak up behind your friends online and stab them in the neck, as you’ve always wanted to!

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is set for a Holiday 2010 release. Expect to see more on it at E3 next month…as with every other game this year.
