Over at the awesome comics rumor blog Bleeding Cool they have the first look at an apparent image of Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern from the movie of the same title, as seen above.

This photo was apparently taken at the Warner Bros lot, so you’d have to think it’s about as official as it’s going to get.

But honestly, doesn’t it look like it’d fit in a lot better here?

Hopefully the first press images of the flick don't have the same airbrushed, rapey qualities.

Green Lantern is due to hit theaters in December 2011.

EDIT: To clarify - I have no idea of the images legitimacy, aside from Bleeding Cool usually being a great source.  Personally, I hope it’s not real, as it looks like shit.

But I did realize what exactly it reminded me of! Bootleg movie art, airbrushed on the side of fairground rides!
