A lot of people have been wondering ever since The Social Network has been announced - “Why a Facebook Movie?”

With the first full length trailer for the David Fincher directed, Aaron Sorkin scripted, Trent Reznor scored, Jesse Eisenberg starring flick released via Yahoo!, I think we now have our answers.

I’ve always thought it took a bizarre, damaged sort to want to create a site like Facebook, and by god, if this movie is even half true, I think it did.

The Social Network opens on October 1st.
