But of course, a movie is much more than it’s title.

With a terrible title like Cowboys & Aliens, you immediately start thinking of one of those terrible Asylum Pictures films, made in about a month on a shoe string budget, with the hopes that SyFy or some deep cable movie channel will use them to fill up two hours of airtime.

And then you see the trailer.

And then you see the list of talent involved.

Jon Favreau (Iron Man) behind the camera. Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde in front of it.  I mean…it’s James Bond and Indiana Jones as COWBOYS, fighting ALIENS.

How can this NOT work?

I hate the title, I really really do. But the trailer and talent involved are leaving me wondering - can Cowboys & Aliens be a good flick?
