You’d think with all the work that the amazing team at Mondo are doing (more to come in a later post), that there would be no market for more Star Wars posters.

You, however, would be wrong. VERY wrong.

Artist Steve Thomas looked at what we may see as an over-mined field and found himself a place to plant a tree, and struck pure gold with this series of Star Wars based travel posters.

Promoting the lands of Mos Eisley, Dagobah and Hoth (amongst others), these posters are absolutely fantastic, and are a dead on skewering of the old fashioned travel posters you used to see back in the 50’s and 60’s.

Evidently, I’m not the only one who thinks so, as Acme Archives Direct has decided to release prints of them in limited quantities.  The Kessel Run and Mos Eisley prints are up first, but the rest are still to come.

If you’ve got a nerd in your life, I think you just found their Christmas present.
