I think to say that the collaboration between Mondo and Lucasfilm has been an absolute success.

With 17 different releases this year, each Star Wars print has been jaw dropping and amazing, but all great things must come to an end, but if this piece from Wired is any indication, they’re going out with a bang.

Starting this Monday, the first of the final three releases, making 20 total, will hit Mondo’s website, and it’s a very special collection of prints.

Designed by master artist Olly Moss, these prints are a trio of minimalist posters for the entire Original Trilogy.

Each print takes a look at an iconic location from their respective films, and subverts them to turn them into a key character.  You have Tatooine turned into C3PO,  Cloud City turned into Boba Fett, and in what I feel is the most striking design, the forests of Endor turned into Darth Vader.

These 24"x36" prints will retail for $50, a limited edition of 400 each, and all go on sale on Monday, so be sure to watch Mondo’s Twitter for the on-sale announcement.

I really think this is the time where I need to pull the trigger.
