The amazing California art gallery Gallery1988 has fast made a name for itself with its mixture of amazing pop culture based art shows.

Classic cult films, Lost, video games, comics, they’ve all been fair game for the gallery to showcase, and with their latest show, Is This Thing On? they enter into a whole new world of comics - the world of comedy to be exact.

Co-sponsored by comedy video site Funny or Die, the show features over 100 artists creating unique interpretations of comedic icons as diverse as Judd Apatow, Louis CK, Woody Allen, Scott Aukerman, Conan O’Brien, Robin Williams, Bill Murray and dozens of others.

You can view all of the artwork on Gallery1988’s website, even purchase some of it (either as prints or expensive originals), but I’ve included a gallery of some of my favorites below.
