The following article is a lot of rumor mill rumbling, and potentially full of SPOILERS for The Dark Knight Rises. You’ve been warned.

I’m not typically one to really enjoy running too far with rumor and scuttlebutt, but when it comes to The Dark Knight Rises, there are many options which sound ridiculous, and some which sound…very plausable.

Now, I’ll admit, I was totally believing the rumors that the third Batfilm would be based on Prey, so I’ve been wrong before.

But this sounds very possible.

As she herself confirmed, Anne Hathaway will be Catwoman in the movie. I can’t tell you what role she has in the beginning, but by the end of the story Catwoman isn’t a villain but rather an ally of Batman. And who are they teaming up to take out?

The League of Shadows.

Headed by Talia Al’Ghul. With Bane, who is her muscle/possible love interest. And with Joseph Gordon-Levitt in tow. Is he playing Black Mask? My source didn’t know, but did know that Levitt is certainly an antagonist and involved with the League of Shadows.

Sounds AWESOME, right?  I know, I agree.

But as with anything Nolan related, take your grains of salt and expect to be proven wrong. He’s leaked disinformation before, it could be the same here.
