Last November, the first trailer for Green Lantern was released.

Trying to balance smart alec moments from Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, mixed with the space epic that is Green Lantern, the trailer just didn’t work for me.  And from what I read online, it really didn’t work for any of you.

And for four months, they’ve been VERY VERY quiet.

This past weekend was Wondercon in San Francisco.  And Warner Bros was to remain silent no more.  In a star studded panel, WB unveiled 12 minutes of footage.  The next morning, it was uploaded on Apple.com, cut down to four minutes…and I have to say, if the movie can live up to THIS footage, I might actually feel good for having dropped the $10 to see it.

But enough of my rambling. Click play. Watch it (in HD, if you can), and tell me what you think in the comments.

I’ll say this - if DC movies can be as cool as this footage…I might just be OK with their weird movie universe split.

Yeah, not really. But it could be cool movies anyway.

Green Lantern hits theaters June 17th.
