I think this is becoming a maddening trend for poster fans like myself from Marvel Studios.

At the end of filming for Thor, all of the cast and crew were provided an amazing, minimalist poster from Olly Moss.

Well, now the team behind Captain America: The First Avenger has gotten their own poster, and HOLY CRAP it is awesome.

Painted by Paolo Rivera, it’s a fantastic throwback to both the original Captain America cover and to movie posters of the area. But more importantly, I really really want a copy of it.

Here’s hoping the movie ends with Cap punching Hitler in the face, and this becomes like, a retailer exclusive cover for the DVD.

Captain America: The First Avenger hits theaters on July 22nd.
