Ah yes, it’s that time again that I love.

Time to share with you folks more amazing posters from Mondo, celebrating films from a director I love.

After releasing posters for Blade II, Hellboy, Hellboy II (which is on my wall) and Pan’s Labyrinth, Mondo has announced the final two posters in their Guillermo Del Toro Directors Series - Cronos and The Devil’s Backbone.

And wow, these really are some works of art.

The first posters to go on sale will be that of The Devil’s Backbone. Intricately designed by Vania Zouravliov and Aaron Horkey, these posters go on sale TODAY (so be sure to watch that Twitter feed!).  The posters are 24"x36", with the standard edition coming in at 350 pieces for $60, and the two variants at an edition of 90 for $90.

Coming at a later, to be announced date, is a poster for Cronos, created by Martin Ansin.  Again, this poster is 24"x36", but the edition size and pricing for the poster and it’s variant have yet to be announced.

As always, these posters are super exclusive and sell out fast, so if you are planning on buying them, good luck and godspeed!  How crazy is it that most movie posters these days are photoshopped messes, yet when a little time and effort is put forth, you not only get a great image, but a premium product that people are willing to pay a premium price for.  Maybe Hollywood could learn something here…

Who am I kidding, they won’t.
