I continue in my quest to get people excited over the forthcoming Spidey film reboot, Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man.

I know the costume is weird, and I know most of what we’ve seen to this point was from crummy spy pics and a rather odd teaser trailer, but the more proper content we see, the more excited I get.  And that continues with these two promotional images which surfaced online.

I believe these come from a marketing style guide, but they showcase the costume better than most images I’ve seen, weird changes and all.  But for as odd as the costume looks, it’s all very uniquely Spider-Man, ESPECIALLY the image at the top of the post.  Maybe I’m wrong, maybe the movie will be an unmitigated disaster, but I remain excited.
