One of my celebrity crushes, or at least one of the one’s I’ve written the least about, is female mixed martial art fighter (and one time American Gladiator) Gina Carano.  I suppose someone in Hollywood decided I wasn’t the only one who found her mixture of beauty, confidence and strength appealing, as this winter, she’s headlining her first film - Haywire.

Directed by the always awesome (and risk-taking) Steven Soderbergh, the movie is sort of your basic Bourne-esq actioner featuring a trained operative gone rogue with things going wrong all around them, but they don’t typically have the cast this one does, mixing Carano with Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Bill Paxton, Antonio Banderas and Michael Fassbender (we’ll ignore Channing Tatum).  If that wasn’t enough, Ms. Carano even does her own STUNTS!
