For as much as I give the fine folks at Mondo so much poster love, they aren’t the only people in town.  In fact, over the weekend I received two great posters from Adam Rabalais (his Moon and Inception posters, incase you’re wondering).

But I was contacted today by a representative of Kryptonite Prints and Apparel, who besides doing some sweet t-shirts, they’ve broken into the world of limited edition, short run screenprinted posters with their debut release, Night of the Living Dead!  For those who may recall, I wrote a zombie comic in a past life, so to mix that with Mondo style prints goes straight for the pleasure center of my brain.

Designed by Grzegorz Domaradzki, this stunning 24"x36” print is limited to an edition of 250 at $40 a pop.  Here’s what Grzegors had to say about the print.

My work often tends to veer towards darker themes, so when I was presented with the chance to pay tribute to Romero's classic, I jumped at the opportunity. Conceptually, I wanted to do something different, something that wouldn't be obviously apparent upon first glance. I arranged the composition in a way that the characters worked together to create the shape of a skull, the symbol of death. It took time to get just right, but in the end the result is just as I had visualized.

If that wasn’t cool enough, they also have released a limited edition glow in the dark variant, limited to just 100 prints.  That runs for $50.

If you’re looking to grab yourself a copy, Kryptonite has been awesome enough to extend a very special offer to blast-o-rama readers! If you use the promotional code BLASTORAMA at checkout, you get 15% off! How awesome is that?  Here’s hoping this is the first of many posters to come from Kryptonite, god knows they’ve grabbed me from the start.

Check out those prints for sure, they’ll be sure to look great on your wall this Halloween and for many years to come.
