Here’s another post appropriate for the holiday.

If you hadn’t had the absolute pleasure to see 2008’s Coraline, you truly missed out. Besides being an amazing film based off of a great Neil Gaiman story, the stop-motion flick also featured the BEST usage of 3D I have seen in theater. So good, in fact, my date noted I looked absolutely child-like giddy at certain sequences.

So, considering we haven’t heard from the studio since, you’d have to figure that I’d be very hyped over whatever the team at Laika had in store next. And that project is ParaNorman.

Now that I know it's a movie about a young boy battling zombies, and I've seen it's amazing trailer (above), I can confirm that I am SUPER hyped for this one.

ParaNorman is due to hit theaters on August 17th, 2012. This should be a good late summer romp, for sure!
