While you watch this absolutely astounding (in that it was actually made, and people anticipate it to do well) trailer for The Three Stooges, the Farrelly Brothers misguided attempt to relaunch the classic comedy franchise for a new generation (is there a douchier phrase?), let us ponder this…

1. It almost starred Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro and Jim Carrey.

2. This is what has become of the team who made us all laugh with Kingpin, Dumb & Dumber and There’s Something About Mary.

3. Somehow, Larry David was talked into this.

This flaming turd of a flick hits theaters April 4th, 2012.
