One of the most fun deep cable finds of last season was Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein’s Portlandia.

A mini sketch show on IFC based around an equal mocking and appreciation of everyone’s favorite Pacific Northwest city, the first season was an absolute blast (and hit DVD and Blu-Ray this week, actually).  While I wasn’t sure if the mixture of the SNL star and the legendary grrl rocker was going to work out, every episode was comedy gold.  And apparently others felt the same, as season 2 starts on January 6th.

To get people excited, IFC has released a new preview clip from the next season, called simply “Dog Park”.  I’ll let the video take over from there.

Portlandia’s second season starts on January 6th, 2012 on IFC.
