OK, so the Dark Knight Rises viral game may have ended somewhat predictably (Operation Early Bird allows people in cities with proper IMAX theaters to see the 6-minute prologue on Tuesday night, for free), but Warner Bros has decided to but some salve on the nerds who may be miffed by the turn of events by giving us something super awesome.

That awesome thing? The brand spankin' new poster for the film.  While I can’t say that it’s as iconic or jawdropping as the infamous “Why So Serious” poster that gave us a glimpse of the Joker, this certainly makes things very clear - the trilogy will end, and Bane is ready to wreck him some Batman.

My inner fanboy is beaming.
