Didn’t it seem just like yesterday that we got the really kinda creepy and bizarre first teaser trailer for ParaNorman?

Well, the team at Universal/Lakia really want to sell you a seat to the cinema this August, so they’ve already gone ahead and released a second trailer, which gives us a better look at the tone of the flick.

Personally, I’m getting a lot of Monster House vibes from this picture, and considering how much I dug that flick, I can forsee loving this.  That said, this probably won’t be another Coraline for Lakia, and Monster House didn’t exactly do great, but hey, my job here isn’t to worry about box office! It’s to nerd out and enjoy, and this flick is most likely one I will love.

ParaNorman is set to hit theaters on August 17th, 2012.
