I know, I know. You probably have already watched it a billion times, but now that a full, official trailer for The Dark Knight Rises is here, I HAD to post about it.

So, as you rewatch it, here are some fun things I’ve noticed in my rewatches for you to note this time.

  • I love Selena Kyle's speech to Bruce - the idea of Catwoman as a "99%"er is a unique spin, and really should add some real life fuel to the fire, similar to Joker's terrorism acts in The Dark Knight.
  • That crowd scene in the football stadium? Yeah, I'm in there somewhere. Perhaps multiple times, with the CG doubling.  Last August, myself and some friends of mine headed to Pittsburgh to be extras, during a long, hot brutal day. But hey, we got to be in the final Christopher Nolan Batman film. How cool is that?
  • Are those Martha Wayne's pearls that Selena is trying on?
  • Is Bruce walking with a cane in there? Why would he need it?
  • To hush down the internet - yes, the Rogues sign in the crowd has a Robin-styled R. Fans made that sign. Their easter egg. Not Nolan's.
  • How cool, and powerful is it, that this is the final Batman film and the trailer barely involves him? Says something about the scope here.
  • Finally, HOW AWESOME IS THE BAT HOVERCRAFT THING OR WHATEVER. OH MY GOD.
Yeah. Watch it again. And again. And again.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters on July 20th, 2012.
