If you haven’t seen Machete, you haven’t lived.

I admit it, I was uncharacteristically late to seeing Robert Rodriguez’s revenge tale Machete, the tale of what happens when you “fuck with the wrong Mexican”, but holy crap, what an absolutely fun exploitation fest.

Following up where 2007’s Grindhouse left, Machete was a balls to the wall gore, boobs and craziness fest, and as teased in the credits, the sequel, Machete Kills is now green lit and ready to go.

The new film finds Machete recruited by the U.S. Government for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man. Machete must battle his way through Mexico to take down a madman cartel leader and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war across the planet with a weapon in space. Machete takes on an army in an effort to dismantle a plan for global anarchy.

Machete Kills doesn’t have an announced release date as of yet, but ya mo be there. Ya mo be there for sure.
