Tomorrow, Marvel Studios will release a brand spanking new trailer for The Avengers, the Joss Whedon helmed culmination of 4 years of hard comic book movie work.

In anticipation of that, they’ve now released a new poster for the film (at the top), and while in concept, it’s not bad, holy hell - did this one get rushed out the door? I know, almost every poster these days is put together in Photoshop, but the lighting is off, people’s head replacements are weird…just…this is VERY odd looking.

But hey, a bad poster doesn’t mean a bad film, does it? …DOES IT?!

The Avengers hits theaters on May 4th, 2012.
