Two New Radiohead Songs Debut On Tour!
Oh, Radiohead. It’s always such a joy when you slowly drip out new music to us.
2011 was a pretty great year for us Radiohead fans. We got a new album, The King of Limbs in February, then two new songs in “Supercollider” and “The Butcher”, and then another two new tracks in “Staircase” and “The Daily Mail” as a part of the sublime From The Basement: The King of Limbs special.  It seems Thom and the gang are all about pushing out new songs in twos these days, as again, two more songs popped up, performed live during the launch of their 2012 world tour in Miami last night.
The first new song is “Identikit”, which definitely feels like it came from the same sessions that birthed The King of Limbs.
The other new track is “Cut a Hole”, which is more subdued and slow, but is again, a very nice listen.
There is no word on a formal release of these two songs (I’d love proper studio versions of “Staircase” and “The Daily Mail” alongside these songs as an EP or perhaps part of a full album?), but we’ll see if Radiohead drops any more new songs as the tour travels toward…well, everywhere but near me.
