Sometimes in life, you need a movie that is big, loud and dumb.  The kind of movie where you and your buddies eat a lot of fried food, get drunk and then go see.

This Summer’s choice of awesome bro-time film? GI Joe: Retaliation.

Smartly mostly ignoring the first GI Joe film, which by all accounts was awful, the Jon Chu directed sequel appears to be full of absolutely ridiculous gadgets, a silly plot, explosions, and most importantly AN AWESOME LOOKING VERSION OF COBRA COMMANDER (pictured in the poster above).

The latest trailer hit the web yesterday, so I just had to share it out with you.  This looks completely insane, in a good way.

I may end up regretting my decision to see this movie, but right now, I am VERY excited for it.  BRING ON THE JOE VS. COBRA AWESOMENESS.
