Holy crap, you guys. Tomorrow is May. The Summer 2012 movie season is here. And so begins the final hard sells on the films which will hit screens between now and Labor Day 2012.

Today, we have the three-minute long trailer for the not-quite-an-Alien-prequel Prometheus.

If you’ve thought the prior trailers didn’t tell you enough of the story, this is the one for you. Plot heavy, but not enough to give things away, you’ll definitely be ready for whatever Ridley Scott has dreamed up to ruin the lives of Naomi Rapace, Idris Elba, Charlize Theron, and Michael Fassbender.

Prometheus hits theaters on June 8th, 2012.
