One of my favorite memories of 2011 was the reunion of The Dismemberment Plan.  Easily one of my favorite bands of all time, The Dismemberment Plan were a band who unfortunately I never got to see before their breakup (despite the fact that they were based in DC, an hour south of me).

The show was an absolute joy, and I think the great response to the shows finally has pushed Travis Morrison, lead singer and creative force behind the DPlan to finally release some lost solo works of his.

After performing as part of the Dismemberment Plan, Morrison briefly went solo as The Travis Morrison Hellfighters.  They release one record, All Y’all in 2007, but there were some songs which never saw the light of day, until today.

Bad Friend Records has aligned themselves with Morrison to release an EP of these songs, titled Crusin' (All Night Long), and you can stream them, download a copy, or even get a physical album right here.

Who knows, maybe we’ll see more one day, if this is successful enough!

If you’d like to check it out before you buy it, here’s a stream!
