As an avid Top Gear fan and (clearly) a movie nerd, my answer to my own headline is simply, yes.

But there’s a bit more to the story.

Jonathan Ross, British talk show host and new comic writer (he’s behind America’s Got Powers), is apparently currently shooting a pilot for ITV in the UK, which is aiming to be the Top Gear for the film industry.

Details are light at this moment, besides the fact that it’s trying to be somewhat silly, include celebrity guests and stunts, but the idea of a fun, light hearted take on film in the Top Gear feel is something that I am very interested in seeing.  And torrenting. Unless a US distribution is set up early.

Bring it on, Jonathan Ross!
