Someway, some how, despite being around for decades, there has yet to have been an official LEGO Haunted House set.

Well, that finally is going to change in September 2012 as LEGO releases a set within their very cool Monster Fighters line which is a fully functional haunted house.

Sure, there have been some amazing and even breathtaking custom builds by fans, but this is the first time such a release has come from LEGO proper.

The 2,064 piece set includes six mini figures, such as the vampire man and wife of the house, plus the Franken-Butler and Zombie Chef, alongside such details as a drop-down staircase, full kitchen, haunted offices and other great fun.

If you’re gonna want to pick this up, be warned, it’s going to be an exclusive to LEGO’s online store, and it doesn’t come cheap - it will run you $179.99.
