While all our focus these days certainly seems to be aimed directly at The Dark Knight Rises, one cannot forget the other big superhero epic hitting this summer, July’s The Amazing Spider-Man.

I’ve continued to hope (as a Spidey fanboy) that this flick truly rules it, but the rumored review embargo of July 2nd (one day before release) has me quite a bit worried about the film.

Either way, Sony Pictures has a new poster out for the film, this time focusing on the romance between Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone).  It’s pretty nice, even if I kinda feel like I’ve seen this before.

The Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters on July 3rd, 2012.
