Black Dynamite is hands down one of my favorite movies of the past five years.  So it goes without saying that now that the animated series is finally about to make air, that I am EXTREMELY excited.

The animated series has been talked about for probably two years now, but it’s finally ready to premiere on [adult swim], and is set to debut on Sunday, July 15th, 2012.

Much of the cast returns to do their voices, including Michael Jai White (Dynamite), Tommy Davidson (Cream Corn), Arsenio Hall (Tasty Freeze), Kym Whitley (Honeybee), and Byron Minns (Bullhorn) - but who gives a damn - let’s watch that trailer!

The animation looks stellar, the voice talent is just right - now I just want the damn thing to be in front of my eyeballs! THE COUNTDOWN IS ON!
