Three years ago, the amazing doll makers at Hot Toys released the first images of their MMS DX Joker figure.

At the time, I was blown away by the level of detail, and even called it “The Closest Thing to a Ledger Clone”.

Well, I guess the universe told them that they could do better, and they have - with the Joker 2.0.

Look at that image at the top. That’s not a one-off sculpt. That’s not fan created. That’s a mass produced toy.

The level of detail in this figure (as seen in the gallery below) is absolutely jaw dropping.  I can’t think of a single detail they’ve missed. The gun, the pencil. Two faces. The knife in the shoe.  It’s completely astonishing, and as always, if you want a figure of this quality to add to your collection, you’re going to have to pay for it.

The figure is available for US orders now via Sideshow Collectibles. The price? A cool $275.
