While I haven’t exactly been quiet about my hopes for the film, I’ve finally started to get excited for the release, and I’m really looking forward to seeing it.  So much so, that I went ahead and bought my 12:01am IMAX 3D ticket.

Well, it seems if you’re like me, and you’ve decided to go ahead and see the 12:01am IMAX screening on July 3rd (late on the night of the 2nd), you’ll be getting an exclusive poster.

According to director Marc Webb’s Twitter, the poster is a curated Mondo release (similar to that of John Carter), and will be given out to all those who see midnight IMAX showings for free.

Well, considering how many of my interests that combines, I have to admit I’m excited.  MTV’s Splash Page site got the exclusive reveal of the poster today, so I had to present the image, which is one of the more understated and classy ones from the film thus far. Now to find some wall space…
