Once again, the awesome team at Gallery 1988 strikes with a wonderful art show celebrating a beloved television show.

The object of lust this time is the early 2000’s classic sitcom Arrested Development, in a multimedia show known as There’s Always Money in the Banana Stand.

The official kick-off event is at Gallery 1988 Melrose this Friday night, June 29th, 2012, and the show is on display through July 21st, 2011.

I’ve included a gallery of some of the absolutely lovely art being showcased at the event - I think my favorites of this small glimpse at the full show are the Beatles-esq print and the Gob Banana doll.

What’s your favorite? Will you be heading to Melrose to see the show? Let me know what you think in the comments!
