If you listen to the words of director Rian Johnson, you may do better to avoid the trailers for Looper.

He feels that you may have a more eye opening experience, the less you know going in.

I mean, I already know that the movie’s about a hit man (played by Joseph Gordon Levitt), who through some time travel craziness ends up going against himself, but from the future (Bruce Willis).

And you know what, I’m going to try it (unless a trailer ends up before a movie I see in theaters), but I will embed these two new trailers for your enjoyment.

The first is the international trailer, which is said to expand upon the original teaser trailer’s footage.

Next is the second trailer for us in the states, which is supposed to give you a bit more meat of the plot. Again, so I hear.

I was sold on Looper from the word go, but everything I've heard from early screenings indicates that we have a very special movie waiting for us this fall. I hope the rumors are true.
Looper hits theaters on September 28th, 2012.
