Whether we like it or not, a full scale remake of the 1980’s classic Robocop begins filming in September.

In possibly one of the earliest releases of marketing I’ve ever seen, a viral website for the new version of OCP has hit the web, giving us a look at OmniCorp.

Omnicorp will of course be the creator of not just the Robocop suit itself, but his enemy for the first film, the ED-209.

The website features many of the robotics company’s creations, including a look at the newer, sleeker ED-209 (image at the top of the post), but when you first load it, you get this brief commercial for the firm.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the RC-2000 is the RoboCop model for this movie.

I have a hunch that this will be furthered at (you guessed it!) SDCC this weekend, so we’ll see what else pops up.

Robocop is set to hit theaters in 2013.
