Given the success of his latest film, Moonrise Kingdom (which I loved), it should come as little surprise that Wes Anderson is already looking into the creation of his next movie.

While there is no known information about the title or plot for the film, movie website Twitch has discovered a list of the actors that Anderson has approached for the film.

For those well versed with Anderson’s filmography, you’ll be pleased to hear that Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Adrian Brody and Jeff Goldblum have been approached to star.  What makes this news interesting however, is the list of new talent he’s approached - Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Ms. Murder, She Wrote herself - Angela Lansbury.

Wes Anderson has always done well with compiling eclectic casts who astonish in how seamlessly they work as a whole, so it should be interesting to see how things go with new talent in the mix such as the superstar Depp and the legendary Lansbury.
