Rockstar Games Sneakily Releases 2 New GRAND THEFT AUTO V Screens
I admit, my excitement for the world of video games has weaned over the past few years. I’m becoming more and more of a casual iOS gamer, and my interest in console titles is less and less every year. I mean, I think my general apathy towards the E3 Press Conferences showcased it, even with some cool titles coming for the PS3, and the Wii U looking decent, I know I just don’t have the dedication anymore.
That said, there are still some titles that make me take note and get me excited. Bioshock: Infinite is one, but the other - Grand Theft Auto V.
Rockstar has rarely, if ever, let gamers down with their games - even their failures have been interesting experiments. Â And with just one trailer released so far, GTAV has been looking rather intriguing.
Earlier this morning, Rockstar did a Q&A article with questions from their fans - some questions were asked about the status of Grand Theft Auto V, and while the release date news isn’t the most promising, they DID release two screenshots. Â The amazing helicopter shot above, and a surprisingly tranquil one below.
What did Rockstar have to say about the game? Here you go:
“What is going on with GTAV?"We are very busy working on the game! Everything is going well, but the game is a huge project. We should have more information and some new assets for you soon.
“Why don’t you give us more news?"
As we have said before, we have often had long gaps between asset releases on previous games and will continue to do so in the future. We are sorry if you find this frustrating, but please understand, we don’t do this because we don’t care about our fans' ‘don’t respect our fans’ ‘hate GTA fans etc’ — precisely the opposite! We do it because we want to make sure we only release 100% correct information, and because we want to keep plenty back for the actual game release so there are still lots of surprises when you play it. The only things we care about are that you enjoy the experience of actually playing the game and that we release accurate information. We just have not been in a position to show more of the game than the trailer and will not be for a while yet.
So the wait continues for GTAV. Lets all hope that it’s worth the patience.
