It wouldn’t be a proper week here on blast-o-rama without a look at another Mondo poster, would it?

This time, the Austin based poster creating team has their sites set on one of the most beloved movies of my generation’s childhood (although, personal admission, I didn’t see it until last year) - The Goonies!

Originally commissioned for a screening in the new Alamo Drafthouse theater in Kansas City, MO (the hometown of Mondo director Justin Ishmael), this 24"x36" print was designed by Randy Ortiz, and features unique, metallic printing for all of the gold (of which, there is MANY).

The print is limited to a run of 320 and goes on sale later today, August 2nd for just $45.

Of note, this isn’t Mondo’s first go around with The Goonies, having done prints in both 2009 and 2005.  It’s really interesting to see how far their posters have come in such a short period of time.
