Between the giant omnibus collection of King City (which if you haven’t picked up yet, you should) and his crazy, weird and at all times awesome reboot of Prophet, comicker Brandon Graham has been kicking my ass up and down the world of comics this year.

So, now that Image has announced they’ll be releasing another project of his, you better believe I’m taking notice.

Titled Multiple Warheads, the story is about an organ smuggler and her boyfriend (who also happens to be a werewolf) set in a not-too-distant future version of Russia.  Written and drawn by Graham, you can expect his same detailed yet simplistic art and beautiful yet mind-bending writing to fill the pages when the first issue drops in October.

The series is actually a reboot of a project he published at Oni Press back in 2007, but the series promises to be released in full in 4, 48-page issues via Image.

As an October born child, I’d like to thank Mr. Graham for the birthday present.
