JJ Abrams' Second STAR TREK Flick Gets a Title & Date!
One of the most anticipated movies of Summer 2013 has to be JJ Abrams' return to the world of Star Trek.
Since helming the 2009 reboot, JJ Abrams has been very quiet about his plans for the sequel, and even now, with filming completed, we still know very little.
Yes, part of the movie is filmed in IMAX. Yes, Benedict Cumberbatch of Sherlock is in the film. But that was about all we knew. Until today!
Let’s start with the good news.  The movie will be released on May 17th, 2013, so we have less than a year to go.
On the bad side? The film is titled…Star Trek Into Darkness.
Not Star Trek: Into Darkness. Star Trek Into Darkness. We are moving forward into space into the dark.
OK. So it’s not the best title. But lots of great movies have weird names! Remember how awkward Batman Begins sounded?  Maybe this doesn’t mean anything! Or…this is the first misstep.
Less than a year to find out. So let’s get excited starting NOW!
