After years of hype and hope, the final installment of the “Blood & Ice Cream Trilogy” is on its way.

The two prior films, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, pairing director/screenwriter Edgar Wright, actor/screenwriter Simon Pegg and actor Nick Frost have been favorites of audiences over the past few years, but it will all come to an end with, appropriately, The World’s End.

Starting as story of a group of childhood friends who reconvene in their 40’s to re-create a legendary pub crawl, it quickly escalates into something greater, and far more apocalyptic.

Featuring an incredible cast including Paddy Considine (Hot Fuzz) and Martin Freeman, the film is set for release in the UK on August 14th, 2013 and October 25th, 2013 in the US. Today, Empire has scored the exclusive reveal of the poster, and we’ve got it for you above.
