On Tuesday night, Apple.com will be the exclusive host of the first true trailer for Marvel Studios next big superhero flick, Iron Man 3 (at least until someone rips it to YouTube).

There’s little doubt that fans are excited about seeing the first footage from what could be the final Iron Man film, but over the weekend, I think the marketing went a bit too big, as we now have a 17 second peak at the trailer. That’s right, it’s a trailer for the trailer. Either way, here you are.

Some nice peaks at things in there, including Tony’s new armor, the back of the Mandarin’s head, and something going terribly awry for Pepper Potts.

But hey, lets add more content to this post, as we’ve got a few new images from the film, including the Iron Patriot armor, which I have a sneaking suspicion is a redeco’d War Machine.

Iron Man 3 hits theaters on May 3rd, 2013.
