It seems that it is a big day for action heroes here on Blast-O-Rama, as it looks like Universal is going to make another go at relaunching the long beloved Conan the Barbarian franchise.

After a no go with Conan the Barbarian, the 2011 film starring Game of Thrones' Jason Momoa, the new film, Legend of Conan will return with Arnold Schwarzenegger as the lead.

Sounds crazy, given that Arnold’s 65 years old, but this will actually deal with an older King Conan, as briefly glimpsed in the 1982 original. Word isn’t confirmed as to whether this will negate 1984’s Conan the Destroyer, but with the movie getting the fast track for Summer 2014, I’m sure we’ll all know soon enough.
