Of the deals presented to ousted Community show runner Dan Harmon since his unfortunate removal from the show, I always figured that the Adult Swim one would be the best.

This is proving to be true, as his animated project, Rick & Morty is the first to be officially picked up.

The half-hour cartoon, features a gifted inventor (and his not so gifted grandson), and will hit the airwaves with 10 episodes either late in 2013 or early in 2014.
