Battle Damaged & Lifelike: Hot Toys DX T-800 (Terminator 2)
Believe it or not, Terminator 2: Judgement Day is old enough to drink. Released over 21 summers ago, the James Cameron directed time travel action flick still holds up as one of the best event movies of all time.
To celebrate its lasting legacy, the Hong Kong 1:6 scale toy madmen at Hot Toys have been working on an entire series in their existing DX line, but the latest figure, the DX T-800 (Battle Damaged Version) may just be the greatest yet!
Featuring all sorts of exposed gore and robotics, this figure also features the eye to detail Hot Toys has become infamous for. Â The eyes move, the robot eye lights up with an actual LED, arms and heads can be interchanged to show different levels of damage, the figure even comes with a T-1000 statue to recreate moments from the iconic final battle from the film.
As always, this level of perfection comes with a price tag. While not as high as the debt that Arnold left California in when he left office as Governor, the figure still costs a hefty $315.
We’ve got a slew of images for you below, and if you’re interested, Sideshow Collectables is taking pre-orders now for a June 2013 release.
